Our services

Steeped in the deep practices of extraordinary leadership and team behavior, our ETP coaches engage with teams, groups, dyads, and individuals, to bring your performance and presence up to a new level.
Team or Group Coaching: We work with teams and groups to bring a coaching approach to team development: we listen deeply, we help you see yourselves more completely, we get clear on goals and align on purpose, and ultimately, we help you have conversations that truly matter. We often use the Extraordinary Teams Inventory (ETI)—a great tool to accelerate team and individual growth.
Individual Leadership Coaching: We work with leaders from all levels of the organization to discover their strengths, build awareness for how they show up, and identify areas for profound learning, personal growth, and action steps needed to move toward extraordinary leadership.

What we do for teams, we do for teams of teams: organizations. We’ll consult with you to reshape the strategy, structures, or systems in your organization to create extraordinary results. In the positive extreme, this opens the entire culture to redesign and transformation.
We are excited about the possibilities of this kind of work. Our starting point often includes some combination of our other offerings as part of a larger organizational intervention. Always we begin with deep listening to our client, understanding the organization’s purpose and context, and assessing the current state. We intentionally engage people throughout the organization to shape the direction and activities within these consultations. Nice!
Examples of our consulting engagements:
Redesigning Culture to Yield Extraordinary Results. Get specific about the values and assumptions that underlie the culture that are necessary to support exemplary teaming. Identify the key leverage points and necessary changes to shift from the existing culture to the culture that holds the promise of the future.
Accelerating Change in Strategy, Structure, and Systems with Extraordinary Teams. Undertake a careful review of the organization’s business strategies, structures, and systems. Do they support extraordinary teams or not? Identify key changes that need to be made to support extraordinary teaming and leadership.
Making Teams the Focus of Performance Across the Organization. Consider your organization’s performance goals and strategies. What teams and teams-of-teams are critical for success? Examine the alignment among these teams and their leadership. Make necessary changes to support high-level alignment and streamlined workflow.
Building Leadership Capacity in Individual Leaders and Leadership Teams. The context for leadership development is two-fold: the organization’s goals and its desired-culture of extraordinary teaming. Identify core competencies and personal characteristics needed for effective leadership. Through workshops and coaching, support leaders and teams of leaders as they grow and change.

All too often, when creating the future, organizations head off without a common understanding of their current reality. This is where our assessment tools come in.
We provide team and individual assessments that can help propel your journey toward extraordinary.
Our Extraordinary Teams Inventory (ETI 2.0) is an online team assessment that measures your teams’ perceptions of 10 Practices of Extraordinary Teams. This tool is grounded in evidence-based research; statistically valid and reliable; provides results that go beyond performance indicators; and is easily administered and cost effective.
In addition to our ETI Team Assessment tool, our ETP practitioners use a variety of other tools and processes to help you build an accurate picture of your current reality which often includes a review of data you may have already collected on your own.
These tools are used in the context of all of our coaching, team building, and consulting services.

The Extraordinary Teams Inventory (ETI) is an evidence-based and statistically sound instrument to assess a team in 10 areas of teaming practices. Based on the original research of Geoffrey Bellman and Kathleen Ryan in their book Extraordinary Groups: How Ordinary Teams Achieve Amazing Results and continuing research by Kevin Coray with now over thousands of people and hundreds of teams, the ETI provides information and advice about a team’s performance in these 10 areas. Using the ETI in a team coaching setting stimulates team conversations about what is working well and what might need to be improved.
The ETI, coupled with the Extraordinary Teams model, is unique in ways that make it the premier team assessment in today’s marketplace. Unlike other team models and instruments, it uses an appreciative approach that allows teams to discover what’s right and not just what’s wrong. It is a psychometrically sound instrument based on extensive qualitative and quantitative research. It is user-friendly for those who take the assessment and those who help interpret the results. It is a cost-effective way to regularly measure how the team is doing in specific areas of teaming behavior.
As a Certified ETI Practitioner, you will be able to:
Assist a team with the process of administering the assessment.
De-brief the findings with the team leader and the team.
Offer consultation/coaching that focuses on designing and monitoring team action plans to become Extraordinary Teams.
Expand your coaching/consulting practice with a new tool and learning.
This six-session virtual certification program is delivered by Extraordinary Teams Partnership members with extensive ETI experience. This group of professionals will support your learning through regular contact throughout the program. In addition to learning about the technical aspects of the instrument, you will discover how to make the assessment experience a timely and relevant team development experience for your clients.
